Masks Still Needed if Returning From a Foreign Trip

March 27, 2022

We welcome back all students after Spring Break and hope that no matter where you went or whom you were with, you enjoyed some adventures.
If your adventures took you outside of Canada, we have a special reminder from the federal government. Masks must still be worn in public spaces - this includes schools - by all those who travelled outside the country. This requirement applies to adults and children. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding during the 14-day period following your return.
We're used to those masks by now, so it's only a small and temporary inconvenience in the name of public health and safety. We will still enjoy all your stories from faraway places!
For more information, see the notice from the Government of Canada:  https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/covid-vaccinated-travellers-entering-canada#children
