 Online Kindergarten Registration for September 2021

 

Opens: 9:00 am January 26, 2021

 

Children whose fifth birthday falls on or before December 31, 2021 are eligible to enter Kindergarten in September 2021.  The online application process for registration for the 2020-2021 school year will open January 26, 2021

Online Student Transfer Process for September 2021

Opens: 9:00 am February 3, 2021 

Closes: 3:00 pm March 2, 2021

 

A parent may request that a student attend a non catchment school using this process.  If accepted, the transfer would take effect for the next school year.  A student that has transferred using this process may not request another transfer for one year.  The online student transfer application process will be open from February to March 2021.

 Online Grade 8 Transition Process for Independent Schools for September 2021

 

This process is now closed

 

Opens: 9:00 am January 12, 2021       

Closes: 3:00 pm February 2, 2021

Students who currently attend grade 7 at an independent school within the SD57 school district boundaries can apply to a SD57 school for grade 8 in the upcoming September 2021 school year using this process.  Applications must be made to the catchment school associated with the student's address.  The online application process will be open January to February 2021.   Details to follow.

All students who are new to Prince George must register at their catchment school.  If you are unsure of your catchment school click here to use our online School Locator tool.

To register your student for school the following documents are needed:

  • Birth Certificate original
  • Proof of address
  • Care Card or BC Services Card
  • A last report card if possible

Transfer to a non-catchment school

Parents may apply for their student to attend a non-catchment school through a request process that takes place from February - March each year online.  Any accepted transfers would take effect for the next school year.
