The following information was provided to you when you obtained your award certificate.
Congratulations on recieving a scholarship or bursary through the District Awards Program! You are to be commended for the diligence and effort which have gone into a most successful high school career.
Before claiming your award, please take the time to write to the award donor, expressing your appreciation for his or her generosity.

To collect your award, you must have already begun classes at an accredited post-secondary institution as a full-time student.
- Request from the Registrar's Office of your post-secondary institution a "Confirmation of Full-Time Enrollment" letter, which contains the school year dates and the program of study in which you are enrolled. It must state that you are a full-time student. The confirmation letter must be dated after the start date of your program.
- Submit this letter, a thank you letter and your contact information to your award's donor.
Request from the Registrar's Office of your post-secondary institution a "Confirmation of Full-Time Enrollment" letter, which contains the school year dates and the program of study in which you are enrolled. It must state that you are a full-time student. The confirmation letter must be dated after the start date of your program. Submit this letter to the School District No. 57 Awards Program.
Provide School District No. 57 a copy of the thank you letter you have sent to your award's donor.
Provide a current mailing address, phone number, and SIN.
You may choose to have your award payment made directly to your bank account, or by cheque.

If you choose not to have your award payment made directly to your bank account a cheque will be generated and mailed to you, or you can pick it up at the School Board Office at 2100 Ferry Avenue.
General awards must be claimed within three years. Exceptions are:
