Welcome back everyone! I am excited to be the next principal at Buckhorn Elementary! I look forward to meeting all the students both new and returning!

Getting back into routines and structures of the school day is important. As returning students know, we are a PBiS (Positive interventions Behavior Support) and focus on STARS – Safety; Teamwork; Acceptance; Respect; and Success. For the first few days of September students spent some time  working on what STARS looks like inside, outside and everywhere in our building. Please talk to your child(ren) about what is means for our school.

Thank you to all the staff, parents, students and community for making Buckhorn a wonderful school. Parents support ensuring that student are getting enough sleep, developing healthy living skills (nutrition and physical activity) and completing assignments are paramount to a students life long learning. We appreciate this support from parents and want to say think you for the great partnership.
