Imagine graduating high school with one year of college already completed!  The Career Technical Centre program is a partnership between the College of New Caledonia and School District 57.  This partnership allows high school students to have a unique opportunity during Grades 11 and 12.  Students in select school districts can take a course at the college while earning dual credits, graduating with both the Grade 12 and their first year of technical training.  Students can choose from a wide variety of trades including carpentry, electrical, heavy mechanical, piping, metal fabrication, professional cook, automotive service technician, and welding. The Career Technical Center allows students to participate in Youth Train in Trades - formerly ACE-IT programs prior to their high school graduation in a variety of trades. Check out the CTC website for up-to-date information and registration details.
