PAC SCHOLARSHIP

​Each year since 2005, the Parent Advisory Council has sponsored a scholarship and a bursary for graduating CIDES students.

CRITERIA

Number of Awards: 1

Amount of Award: $750.00

Eligibility: Open to student who attended CIDES as a fulltime Connect Student for Grades 11 and 12.

Criteria: Must be enrolled at CIDES for a minimum of 52 course credits at the Grade 11 and 12 level. All course credits must have been completed through CIDES. Demonstrated satisfactory academic achievement and achieved a minimum GPA no lower than 5.00. Demonstrated good character and citizenship.

Selection Process: Selected by the School Awards Committee comprised of school staff and a PAC executive member.

​Special Conditions: This award is paid directly by the donor. A letter of reference, from a non-relative, which indicates the student’s characteristics of honesty, trustworthiness, reliability and good character is required. The award is conditional on enrolment in any program that is six months or longer in duration at a recognized post-secondary institution. Student must enrol in the program no longer than one year following graduation.
