The Canadian film and television industry is booming, and this means there is a whole range of career opportunities for your students right now and in the coming years. Whatever their interests – fashion, photography, carpentry… even cooking – there is a place for them in film.I'm Interested >> Presented in partnership with various film industry and educational institutions nationwide, this training series will give young people a taste of the real skills needed to find a place in the ever-growing Canadian film and television industry. Not only are these boot camps free of charge, but there will even be a modest stipend for participating, and some financial support for those who may need travel and accommodation. We’ve been getting the word out with Reel Opportunities workshops for the past two years. Now we’re excited to announce the next phase: Reel Opportunities Boot Camps. These are two-week hands-on paid training opportunities offering select students the chance to get practical basic training to go to work on a film set.
