TUMBLE BOOK LIBRARY

Dear Parents! Our School has a subscription to TumbleBookLibrary, and your family can access it from home! It’s unlimited, and it’s FREE for you to use from home!

TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of e-books for children. They are a great way to encourage tech-savvy kids to enjoy reading!

There are over 250 animated, talking picture books! The site also features Spanish and French books, read-along chapter books, non-fiction books, quizzes, and exciting games and puzzles!

We hope that you will get the chance to check out the collections with your child!

Below is all the information you’ll need to login to the collection: You can use your computer, tablet, or mobile phone! All you need is an internet connection. There are no downloads: books are streamed right to your device at the click of a button.

MCBRIDE CENTENNIAL SUMMER CLOSURE

McBride Centennial School will be closed for the summer effective 3:00 p.m. on TUESDAY, JUNE 28, 2022. We will reopen on AUGUST 29, 2022. Registration for elementary school students will held on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 31, 2022.
The first day back to school will be September 6, 2022 from 8:40 to 10:15 a.m.
Have a safe, memorable and fun summer. See you in September.

INTERMEDIATE REPORT WRITING DAY: FRIDAY, JUNE 17, 2022
No school for the students in MRS. WALCHUK'S CLASS (5/6/7)
GRADE 5/6/7 SWIM PROGRAMME

The swim lessons for Grade 5/6/7 will take place on MAY 19 AND JUNE 16 in Jasper, Alberta. Please contact the school to confirm if your child will be traveling to Jasper on those days. More information and permission slips will be sent out soon to parents.

PRIMARY REPORT WRITING DAY

Primary report writing day will be on MONDAY, JUNE 13, 2022. There will be no school for MRS. MONROE'S CLASS,
MS. BODNARCHUK'S CLASS , AND MR. ZAHNS'S CLASS.
READY, SET, LEARN

Once again, McBride Centennial and the McBride and District Public Library, will be offering this pre-literacy program for 8 weeks. This program is for 3, 4, and 5(who are not yet in Kindergarten) year olds and their caregivers. This program will run on WEDNESDAYS beginning MAY 18 from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in room 1032 at McBride Centennial. Please call the school at 250-569-2721 to register your child.
