Residence and Housing

Applications are now open! Students should apply for Residence as soon as they apply to SFU to best ensure their space. Students living on campus experience the community, opportunities and support for their transition into SFU. More than 40% of SFU's residents are from the Lower Mainland.

Online and On-Campus Information Sessions

Join online or on-campus and find out about programs, opportunities outside the classroom, admission requirements, and more. Each information session is one hour and includes a question and answer period. Choose from sessions in November and December.


TD Scholarships

TD is committed to opening doors for a more inclusive and sustainable tomorrow, and creating conditions where everyone has the chance to succeed in a changing world. TD Scholarships are offered to students who, like TD, help support change, nurture progress and contribute to making the world a better place.

Each scholarship is worth up to $70,000* in tuition and living expenses over four years at any approved university or college in Canada, plus opportunities for summer employment at TD.

To be eligible, students must:

Be capable of entering and completing university or college with a minimum average of 75%,
Be in their last year of high school (outside Quebec) or
Be in their last year of CEGEP (in Quebec).If you know somebody who is a difference-maker, encourage them to apply at  TD Scholarships. Don’t wait! Application deadline is November 15, 2019.

The TD Scholarship for Community Leadership – just another way that TD is opening doors for an inclusive tomorrow.

Valedictory Ceremony  Friday, June 5, 2020

Eat a big breakfast! Please bring a snack and water with you. Please leave valuables and larger items at home or with a family member as you will not have a secure place to store belongings. You will be able to store a small purse/bag under your chair for the ceremony (not a backpack).

11:00 AM----Students arrive at CN Center 

Formal Attire:

- Lightweight collared shirt and dress pants/skirt.

- Lightweight dress.

- Comfortable dress shoes recommend.

11:15 AM-----All Grads move downstairs for photo. Grads only.

- Assemble in bleaches as directed for Class of 2018 photo.

- STAY downstairs -You can NOT go back outside.

12:00 PM-----Grads line up alphabetically around concourse. Assistance will be provided.

- Eat your snack!

- Drink your water.

- Use the washroom.

12:15 PM-----Doors open for quests to be seated.

1:00 PM------ Valedictory Ceremony begins.

3:15 PM - 3:30 PM---Valedictory Ceremony ends.

3:30 PM - 4:30 PM----Reception for all Grads, Family, and PGSS Staff on the concourse (Section W).

- Please join us for light refreshments.

- Celebration and photo opportunities.

 

Valedictory Ceremony fees are to be paid at the office - $120 - cash or cheque only! Fees are due on or before November 30, 2019
