Principal's Message

Happy Fall and Welcome Back to school!

Valemount Elementary Staff is looking forward to having
    students back in the classroom.

We usually start our year with multi-age groupings so the students get to know all new staff and students. However, this year has been extremely difficult to configure all of our students into the 6 divisions that has been allotted by the school district.  This year we have two classrooms that will be three-way splits.  We will continue to do our best to support all learners at VES.

We would like to welcome a few new staff members . Ms. Amann was with  us at the end of last year and joins us once again this year. Mrs. Cuming has rejoined our staff as the prep teacher, and Ms. Rebecca Lerch  is currently covering our kindergarten classroom at this time.  Welcome to all new staff, we are happy to have you join our VES Team.

Our weather has been getting cooler and the leaves are already changing colour.  Just a reminder to ensure your child is dressed appropriately for back to school, the weather can be very unpredictable this time of the year.

We would like to thank you for your ongoing efforts throughout this very trying time. Know that we are doing our best to make school a safe, exciting and fun place to learn for all students.

Wishing you all the very best this year. –VES Staff
