Courtesy One-Day Permission to Ride the Bus - Not available due to COVID
In order to access this service, students currently registered and attending CHSS are required to provide a note to the office signed by the parent/guardian, stating the date and the reason for the request. The school will keep this note on file and provide the student with a signed "Courtesy One-Day" rider permission slip to be given to the bus driver. The bus driver will refuse any non-registered rider without an authorized note for the school.
A registered bus student who normally takes the bus must present a signed "Courtesy One-Day" rider permission slip from the school indicating that the school bus received a written request from the student's parent/guardian giving permission to disembark at an alternate bus stop. If a student does not have a School Bus "Courtesy One-Day" rider permission slip from the school, the driver will not let the student off at an alternate stop but will return him/her to the regular bus stop
