Sept 26 - University of Calgary to meet Gr. 11&12 students

Oct 4 - Grade 12 students must meet with Counsellor to complete graduation checks this month

Oct 4  - Mandatory Grad/Admin/Counsellor meeting at 11:13 am in the MPR

Oct 5-26 - Grad Photos appt booking - All grads must book their appt. even if not buying a package.

Oct 6 - Post Secondary and scholarship information meeting at beginning of lunch room 249
Oct 7 - Grad Executive Committee Interest meeting at lunch in room 152
Oct 26 - 2023 CHSS Parent Grad meeting at 7 pm in the Multipurpose Room
Oct 27 - CNC Recruitment Officer to meet with students at lunch in the foyer

Oct 31 - Nov 5 - Grad Photos Monday-Friday from 3:20 - 9 pm and Saturday from 9-11:30 am in the Multipurpose Room

Nov 1  - Valedictory Ceremony Registration form and fees due
Nov 2 - Parent Sponsored Dry Grad meeting at 7 pm in the Multipurpose Room
Nov 16 - Parent Sponsored Dry Grad meeting at 7 pm in the Multipurpose Room
Nov 2 - Kings University to meet with students at lunch

Dec 2 - Grad Photo Retakes in the Multipurpose Room 3:20-9 pm, book with Mrs. Gendron in the office by November 30
Dec 16 - Email Grad baby photos (chss.grad2023@gmail.com) or drop off in the library

Jan 10 - School District 57 District Awards meeting at 11:30 am in room 249. All interested grade 12 students should attend.

Jan 11 - District Scholarship & Awards opens 12:01 am 

Jan 20 - Grad Quote and Most Likely To.pdf due to the office by 3 pm. There are copies in the office.

Jan 27 - Design for cover of Valedictory program closes - designs to the library

Jan 30 - LAST call for baby photos to the library or email to chss.grad2023@gmail.com

Jan 31 -- Last day to purchase yearbook for early bird price $40. They are $50 after this date.

Feb 3 - Nominations for Valedictorian and O'Canada

Feb 15  - District Scholarship & Awards closes 11:59 pm

Feb 22 - Tryouts for Valedictorian during DLT

TBD - O Canada tryouts

March 3 - Deadline to purchase yearbook

May 1-5  - Grad Ticket pick up. Each student will receive tickets to the ceremony.

May 18 & 23  - Mandatory Grad Rehearsals

May 23  - Grad cap & gown pick up

May 25, 2023 (Thursday) - Valedictory Ceremony - Civic Centre, 11:30 am - Students arrive for group photo

June 10 - Prom at the Hart Community Centre

  • All students must complete BOTH in order to satisfy graduation requirements 
  • CLC 12B CAPSTONE Presentations are December 14, 2022 & January 11, 2023, from 2-3pm 
    • Students MUST sign-up with Mr. Bucci (Rm 131 or 240)
  • ALL CLC 12B Course Booklets are Due to Mr. Bucci by Jan 3rd, 2023
  • Mr. Bucci is available to support grade 11's and 12's before school, after school and EVERY Wednesday from 2-3pm in room 240 or 131

THE NEW ONLINE STS (Student Transcript Service) for PSI (Post Secondary Institutions)

As of 2017 Grade 12 students who are applying to a post-secondary institution must complete the Online STS (Student Transcript Service) by June 30 if they have not already done so.  Admission offers may be delayed or denied if students do not authorize the release of their transcript data via the Online STS (Student Transcript Service) . 

Students wishing to have their marks forwarded in the early admission transfer to BC Electronic Online STS (Student Transcript Service) and the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) must submit their selections by April 30.

The Parent Sponsored Dry Grad committee is looking for volunteers to help make your grade 12's final year memorable by hosting a Dry Grad and Prom. If you would like to volunteer or be kept in the loop on what is happening please contact them at chss2023grad@gmail.com 

PLEASE NOTE: ALL EVENTS AND FUNDRAISING IS DONE BY PARENTS AND STUDENTS INVOLVED WITH PARENT SPONSORED DRY GRAD, FOR DRY GRAD.  NONE OF THE EVENTS ARE SCHOOL DISTRICT 57 EVENTS.
