Youth Work in Trades (MWRK) is a course offered for students who are currently working in a trade with a certified journeyperson.

Secondary school apprentices can earn 4-credits for every 120 hours of apprentice work in their trade, for a maximum of 16 credit hours.

Students may also be eligible for a $1000.00 SSA award.

Check out all of the certified trades in BC on the ITA website.

See your school's Counsellor or Work Experience Teacher for more information on the course, or contact Bruce Northrop at the Career Programs Office directly (250-564-3121).
