We are now open for New Student Registration.  Please call to book an appointment (250-997-6510). When coming to register please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate, Care Card, and a copy of their most recent report card.  Safety protocols will be in place when visitors enter the building.

Students have been placed in grade specific learning groups for the school year.  The groups are as follows: 

  • Learning Group 1 Gr 7&8
  • Learning Group 2 Gr 9&10
  • Learning Group 3 Gr 11&12

Regular classes began on Monday, September 14, 2020.  

We have moved to a quarter system which has resulted in changes to our timetable.  Please see the attached bell schedule below.

Mackenzie Secondary School has updated its Re-Start Plan for the 2020-21 school year based on new guidelines provided by the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Health Officer.  The plan is below in PDF form with updated information highlighted in yellow. The plan provides detailed information about health and safety measures in place so students, teachers and staff feel as safe as possible in our schools. The plan falls within the Provincial COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidelines for K-12 Setting and adheres to the standards and direction set by the Ministry of Education, the Provincial Health Officer, BC Centre for Disease Control and WorkSafe BC.
