Hello Students and Parents/Guardians of McBride Centennial
Wow, we are already at week three after Spring Break!
Since Spring Break and our new learning path, teachers have
been working hard to connect with all of you!
Last Thursday student belongings and the first learning packages went
home. Thank you for working with us to
get 100% of belongings (that we could find) and learning packages to
students! What teamwork! The lost and found still exists but is
smaller, so if you are missing an item, please call. We may have it.
We as yet don’t have a firm plan for delivering completed
packages back to the school. Teachers
have given alternate ways to “return” finished assignments. We also don’t have a firm plan for the
pick-up/delivery of new packages. We are
working with the School District to establish protocols. Stay tuned.
Some learning packages are for one week and some are for two
weeks. Please check with your teacher if
you’re not sure about the timeline for yours.
These are different times.
We are committed to creating, implementing, and supporting
continuity-of-learning plans for each of our students. Let us be patient and kind with each other as
we work out any challenges as we go along this path. High tech, low tech, or no tech, we will find
ways to continue everyone’s learning.
Please call the school at 250-569-2721 or e-mail email@example.com if needed. Please check the School District website and
our school’s website for new information.
Encourage your classmates and their parents/guardians to do the
same. If you need a paper newsletter,
let us know that too.
Yours in the learning journey,
