District Sustainability Committee Report
Feb. 1 - At its January 26 public meeting, the Board of Education agreed to consider the recommendations contained in the District Sustainability Committee's report, including the recommendation to close 14 schools in the district.

Final decisions regarding school closures will occur at the Board Meeting of Tuesday, March 30. Schools slated for closure would close effective September 1, 2010.

Aboriginal Choice School
Jan. 27 - At last night's public meeting, the Board of Education received the report of the Aboriginal Choice School Development Committee regarding the establishment of an Aboriginal Choice School at Carney Hill Elementary.
